Take on an apprentice / trainee without the admin. We're the employer, so we handle the wages, super, WorkCover, training contract and paperwork. You focus on the work.
What we handle

What you do
- Provide safe, supervised work and on-the-job training
- Sign off timesheets so we can pay your apprentice / trainee on time
- Allow regular site visits from our dedicated field officers
- Release the apprentices/trainee to off the job block training
Clear pricing, explained before you sign
You pay an hourly charge-out rate for the hours your apprentice / trainee works with you. We will provide you with a full breakdown of exactly what it covers, including any other charges, before you commit. Prices exclude GST.
How group training works
With group training, AATMS is the apprentice's / trainee's employer. We recruit them, sign the training contract, pay them and look after their training. They work in your business, and you pay us an hourly charge-out rate for the hours they work with you. You're not their employer, but you still keep the worksite safe and supervise their work.
Our service standards
We publish these so you can hold us to them.
- A dedicated experienced field officer for your business and your apprentice / trainee
- Training plan, reviewed during site visits
- A site visit at least every 6 weeks
- A reply to calls and emails within 1 business day
- Training contract changes or amendments lodged within 5 business days

FAQs
Do I have to employ the apprentice / trainee?
No. AATMS is the employer. You host them and supervise their work on site by a qualified tradesperson.
What if it isn't working out?
Talk to your field officer. We'll work through it with you, and if needed, we can look at rotating the apprentice / trainee to another host.
Who supervises the apprentice / trainee?
You supervise the day-to-day work on site. Your field officer handles the employment side and checks progress against the training plan.
What does it cost?
You pay an hourly charge-out rate, and we explain what it covers before you sign. Prices exclude GST. Ask us for a quote.
What's group training compared with hiring directly?
We're the employer, so we take on the payroll, compliance and paperwork. If it isn't working out, we can rotate the apprentice or trainee to another host.
